| Profile | Completed graduate studies at Kyoto University, Graduate School of Agriculture. She founded VegeProject during her student years and has been advancing the creation of vegetarian, vegan, and plant-based options for more than 10 years. Her experience includes working at a food company and producing an exclusive video interview with Paul McCartney for the launch of a vegetarian initiative in Japan. Utilizing her knowledge of food and international connections, she offers consulting services to universities, restaurants, and companies for vegan product development, and serves as an expert in vegetarian/vegan initiatives run by national and local governments. Since 2018, she has been invited annually as a speaker at international vegan summits. In 2024, she received the grand prix at the JAPAN VEGAN AWARD.
京都大学大学院農学研究科修了。学生時代にベジプロジェクトを設立し10年以上にわたりベジタリアン/ヴィーガン/プラントベースの選択肢作りを進めている。食品会社での勤務や、ポールマッカートニー氏とのベジタリアンに関連する動画制作の経験をもつ。食に関する知識や国際団体との繋がりを活かしながら、大学や飲食店、企業へのヴィーガン商品作りに関するコンサルティングを行うほか、国や自治体の事業にてベジタリアン・ヴィーガンの専門家として参画。ヴィーガンに関する国際サミットではスピーカーとして2018年以降毎年招待を受け登壇。2024年にはJAPAN VEGAN AWARDの大賞を受賞。 |
